Big news from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2! The first person shooter gets Raytracing support on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. At launch, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be included directly in Xbox Gamepass. This information comes from the Spanish-language Twitter account @XboxStudio.

You need to know: Xbox Studio announced new details about the long-awaited open world game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 on Twitter. The title is not supposed to be visually inferior to its predecessor Shadow of Chernobyl.

Thus, Zakhar Bocharov, PR Manager of the developer GSC Game World announced Raytracing support for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Also explicitly mentioned is the ability for 4k resolution on the aforementioned consoles.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 at release directly on Xbox Gamepass

This is planned: GSC Game World will make S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 available via Xbox Gamepass directly at release. This means that Gamepass subscribers will not have to pay any additional amount to access the game.

Players on Last Gen consoles will be left empty-handed. The open world shooter will not be released for this hardware due to its technical demands.
