From the E3 2017 Xbox Conference comes the announcement of the next installment in 4A Games post-apocalyptic Russian FPS survival horror Metro franchise: Metro Exodus.
The reveal trailer highlights the grungy, ruined underground environment, enormous rat and bear mutants, and the makeshift weaponry we’ve come to know and love. A moment comes when the claustrophobic confines of the Metro are left behind for the gorgeous beauty of a demolished town overlooking a quarry.
Further, the game was described as having non-linear levels and will take place over the course of a year, through all four seasons.
Enhanced for Xbox One X
Metro Exodus will be available on the Windows 10 and Xbox stores with recently announced Xbox One X Enhancements. In 4K Ultra HD and HDR you’ll nearly choke on the dust-laden air of the underground. While a PS4 version wasn’t announced, it wasn’t specifically called an exclusive.
