Genshin Impact: Kreideprinz Albedo in the new wish for 1.2 – how high is the drop chance?

Deutsch English

The time-limited wishes in the co-op RPG Genshin Impact will be updated again soon. The version update 1.2 replaces the two current wishes. Above all, these two new wishes offer a higher chance of the new 5-star character Albedo, also known as “Kreideprinz” and various 5-star weapons.

These are wishes: To get new characters or weapons, you can use the wishes in Genshin Impact. These are like loot boxes with random loot. The whole thing is based on the gacha machines in Japan, where you insert a coin and get a random object. Two of the three wishes are time-limited, which show an increased drop chance of certain characters and weapons and are updated every 3 weeks. The third wish “Wanderlust Invocation” offers no advantages, but always remains.

When are the wishes updated? The current wishes end on December 22nd at 2:59 p.m.server time. Then the new wishes will appear about 5 hours after the 1.2 update.

How long do the wishes last? The wishes have a duration of almost 3 weeks and end on January 12, 2021 at 3:59 p.m. server time.

This is in the “Secretum Secretorum” wish

Again there are two time-limited wishes in the new period until January 12th. One with an increased chance for characters and one for weapons. The Secretum Secretorum wish increases the chance for certain characters.

This is the “Secretum Secretorum” wish: In this wish, you have a higher chance of getting the brand new 5-star character Albedo. He is also called the Kreideprinz (german for chalk prince) and is part of update 1.2. His element is Geo and he attacks with a one-handed sword. In addition, the drop chance for the following characters increases:

  • 5-star character “Kreideprinz” Albedo (Geo)
  • 4-star character “Prinzessin der Verurteilung” Fischl (Electro)
  • 4-star character “Harmless Sweetie” sucrose (Anemo)
  • 4-star character “Trial by Fire” Bennett (Pyro)

How high is the drop chance? The base probability of drawing a 5-star hero is 0.6%. The chance that Albedo will then appear is 50%. Should you still draw another 5-star hero, the chance for the count on the next lucky hit is 100%. The 4-star characters appear with a base probability of 5.1%. If you draw a 4-star hero, the chance for one of the three time-limited heroes is also 50% and on the 2nd attempt, it is 100%.

Note: The time-limited heroes can only appear in the time-limited wishes. In the general wish “Wanderlust Invocation”, Albedo is excluded as a drop for the time being.

Arms prayer with a 5-star sword and catalyst

In the weapon wish “Epitome Invocation” the current rotation of the weapons changes. While you can currently get hold of a Legendary spear and a two-handed sword, next there is a catalyst and a one-handed sword.

This is the “Epitome invocation” wish: You can get hold of two 5-star weapons and five 4-star weapons here with a higher drop chance. However, everything can be present in this wish, but the drop chance is drastically increased for these items:

  • 5-star weapon Summit Shaper (one-handed sword)
  • 5-star weapon Skyward Atlas (catalyst)
  • 4-star weapon Favonius Sword (one-handed sword)
  • 4-star weapon Favonius Greatsword (two-handed sword)
  • 4-star weapon Sacrificial Fragments (catalyst)
  • 4-star weapon the Stringless (bow)
  • 4-star weapon Favonius Lance (polearm)

How high is the drop chance? The base probability of drawing a 5-star weapon is 0.7%. If you draw a legendary weapon, the chance for a Summit Shaper or a Skyward Atlas is 75% higher than with the other legendary weapons. If you still have bad luck and draw another 5-star weapon, you are guaranteed to receive one of the limited-time weapons the second time.

The same applies to drawing a 4-star weapon, but here the base probability is 6%. As with the character wish, you cannot currently receive the limited-time weapons in the standard wish.
