The worldwide rush at 1:00 a.m. on the Steam servers due to the Cyberpunk 2077 release was so great that the Steam servers crashed.
That’s going on: At 1:00 a.m., the steam servers crashed because the global onslaught of Cyberpunk 2077 players was simply too big.
However, the servers were only down for a few minutes and at around 01:05 the servers were back online. How long these will remain, however, remains to be seen.
Developer CD Projekt Red had already confirmed that the pre-orders for Cyberpunk 2077 were significantly higher than with The Witcher 3.
