ARK: Survival Evolved has just been released on PlayStation, and Studio Wildcard provides the survival game as promised with patches. The update released today improves performance and looks.
New maps and content
On the normal PlayStation 4, ARK only runs at 720p. This does not change with the new update as opposed to the PRO version. On the PRO version, the resolution is increased from 720p to 1080p. In addition, textures of dinosaurs, vegetation and structures are improved.
The update also contains many bug fixes. So the game will no longer suffer from crashes and tribal invitations will no longer be blocked by ARK itself. Fans of the Primitive + Mod can look forward to it. The modification which add Medieval buildings or muskets is available with the new update.
Developer Wildcard also announced a major update for the next months. In this update various new maps will be included for all versions. Technically the next update brings again a performance improvement by Nvidia PhysX.
