ARK’s Eggcellent Easter Adventure is back! The patch was released today, 14th April, and includes all known content from last year’s Easter update. However, while PC players can rejoice, console gamers must wait a little longer for an eggtastic time.
Beasts with Bunny Ears
Just like last year, this event adds two new and exclusive creatures into the world, the BunnyDodo and the BunnyOviraptor. Both behave exactly the same as their normal counterparts, but can be easily distinguished by their bunny ears and the Easter coloured Bunny Eggs they lay.
You’re going to want to get your hands on as many of these Bunny Eggs as you possibly can. Go to the Cooking Pot with your Bunny Eggs and you can craft the following skins:
- Bunny Ears Skin (20 Bunny Eggs)
- Dino Bunny Ears Skin (50 Bunny Eggs)
- Procoptodon Bunny Costume (200 Bunny Eggs)
- Summon the DodoRex (600 Bunny Eggs)
If you have a tamed Procoptodon, we recommend saving up 200 for the Bunny Costume. It’s way cooler to ride around on a giant bunny than on a kangaroo. If you’re swimming in eggs, why not summon the DodoRex and give your mates a friendly Easter challenge.
Easter Delays for Console Players
Unfortunately not everyone will be getting their eggs at the same time. Due to Studio Wildcard’s large workload and major goals to revise the U.I and add an active volcano, the developers weren’t able to bring out any new content for the Easter update this year. But hey, at least we get to revisit last year’s cool content!
As with most updates, console players must wait a littler longer. All you console ARK players will have to wait for the next update to begin your Eggcellent Adventure.
